Pay: $21.50 per hour + $0.50 shift differential

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00PM-12:30AM

Location: Saxonburg, PA 16056

General Summary

The Forklift Operator I is responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment (excluding Order Picker, Turret, and Drexel) for product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment. Ensures product safety, quality, and legality.

Responsibilities

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Loading and unloading pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting and building product to pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Using machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets.
• Performing pre- and post-equipment checklists.
• Maintaining storage location accuracy through daily cycle counts and routine inventory tasks.
• Performing other distribution functions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment (electric pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
• Must meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to work at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Strong team player.
