Job summary

Quantix in New Jersey is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator to safely operate sit-down forklifts, move, load, and unload shipments while keeping pace with a fast, safety-driven team. You will verify loads, inspect for damage, stack 55-pound bags, maintain cleanliness, follow OSHA/SDS standards, perform daily equipment checks, and support inventory accuracy.

This role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and availability for 12-hour shifts, including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare material for shipment with accurate load counts.
• Verify load accuracy and inspect for damage; report discrepancies.
• Manually stack 55-pound bags per customer instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse work area.
• Follow all work instructions, safety procedures and policies.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Perform LP tank changes and monitor power sources.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Communicate concerns to warehouse leads or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Pick and prepare material for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to load counts.
• Verify load accuracy, inspect for product damage, and report discrepancies as necessary.
• Manually stack 55-pound bags following customer instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all work instructions, safety procedures, and workplace policies.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues immediately.
• Perform LP tank changes as needed, monitoring power sources for equipment.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Communicate concerns or issues promptly to warehouse leads or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications
