Quantix SCS, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move, load, and unload shipments in a fast-paced warehouse in Baytown, TX. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability in daily operations.

You will handle 55-pound bags, verify loads, and maintain inventory while adhering to OSHA and SDS standards and performing routine equipment inspections.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills helpful for inventory and records.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and work at heights or in small spaces.
• Willingness to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to follow OSHA and SDS safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Pick and prepare material for shipment, ensuring accuracy and load counts.
• Verify load accuracy, inspect for product damage, and report discrepancies.
• Manually stack 55-pound bags following customer instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all work instructions, safety procedures, and workplace policies.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report issues immediately.
• Perform LP tank changes as needed, monitor power sources for equipment.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and participate in physical counts.
• Communicate concerns or issues promptly to warehouse leads or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
