1-800-Pack-Rat LLC is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for our Dayton, OH warehouse. The role involves operating an 18-ton propane forklift, stacking and moving containers, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of inventory.

The job requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform maintenance scheduling, safety tasks, and basic shop duties. A background check/drug test may be required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination required.
• Willingness to complete forklift training and comply with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate 18-ton propane-powered sit-down forklift.
• Move containers and inventory up to 10,000 pounds to heights up to 35 feet.
• Schedule maintenance for forklifts and delivery trucks.
• Ensure quality standards and safe handling of materials.
• Scan and upload documents into IT servers.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety policies.
• Be willing to undergo background check/drug test.
• Work to be completed daily with home every day.
