UFP Structural Packaging, LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator I to move materials between inventory and production, maintaining accurate paperwork and supporting the production schedule. The role emphasizes safe operation, organized inventory, and timely material flow.

You’ll join a team focused on reliability and efficiency, with routine pre-shift checks, production records, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 9th grade education or equivalent.
• No minimum experience required; forklift driving experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move material in process between stations as needed.
• Band, wrap, pack finished goods and label material.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Keep rough material and finished goods inventory organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
