Job summary

ALPLA Jefferson City Plant is hiring an entry-level warehouse associate to join our shipping and receiving team in Jefferson City, MO. You will help ensure on-time shipments, prepare finished products for dispatch, and support safety and quality processes on the floor.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in general warehousing; forklift experience is preferred. We offer training, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution preferred.
• Experience with Forklift/Clamp Truck machinery preferred.
• Safety awareness and quality consciousness.

Responsibilities

• Part of customer service to ensure shipping on time.
• Preparing finished product to ship to customer; checks for damages and counts.
• Following warehouse receiving and shipping procedures; records and stores raw materials and finished goods.
• Accurately handles and records all packaging products from receipt to storage and then to production.
• Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Adheres to safety practices including forklift/dock door safety checks, PPE, and reporting unsafe conditions.
