Job summary

Progress Container, a TRG company, is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Winder, GA facility. The role focuses on safe and efficient movement of products, with responsibilities including forklift operation, inspections, stock location, and accurate paperwork.

First shift runs 7am–3pm or 5am–3pm with overtime as required. You will maintain stock stacks, assist teammates, and follow safety guidelines to contribute to on-time production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
• Familiarity with pallet jack, or other industrial vehicles.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for forklift safely; be qualified to operate forklift.
• Complete and document forklift inspections before shift and after switching forklifts.
• Locate stock before run start and deliver stock to machines safely and on time.
• Remove finished goods from machines and maintain neat, safe stock stacks.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely; track stock location by paperwork and computer.
• Maximize equipment utilization and adhere to daily production schedule; suggest optimization where possible.
• Assist other forklift operators as needed; prepare reports such as Production Data, Safety, and Quality data.
