Job summary

Metrolina Greenhouses is seeking a Forklift Driver to operate a sit-down forklift, load and unload trucks, and move materials within the distribution center. This role supports other greenhouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position requires 2-3 years of forklift experience, familiarity with RF scanners, and strong hand-eye coordination. Regular indoor/outdoor work and standing for long periods are expected, with overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years forklift experience.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Proficient in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks.
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility.
• Constant movement of material on pallets throughout the greenhouse.
• Stack product in the correct locations, following inventory control instructions.
• Update inventory activity, logs, and records of completed tasks.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Assist with soil production.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
