Job description

Our Glendale client is seeking a full time warehouse associate on a temp – hire contract. This is a great opportunity to start a career with one of the nation’s largest restaurant supply distributors and design companies. Excellent working conditions and benefits when hired full time await the right applicant. Work 40 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday, and enjoy a 3 day weekend, every week!! Job duties:

• Order picking and order fulfillment.
• Use of UPS-type scanners and RF devises
• Operation of pallet jack
• Operation of forklift and forklift/cherry picker
• Adhere to all mandatory safety protocol
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Help co-workers wherever and whenever needed during the work shift.

The right candidate will need the following skills:

• The ability to work comfortable at heights of up to 25 feet above the ground. This person will be operating a forklift/cherry picker which raises and lowers to the shelving heights allowing the operator to pick the products needed to fulfill the orders. The employee wears a full safety harness which is secured above to the safety hook on the cherry picker.
• Lift up to 50lbs, though much of the product being handled are small packages
• The ability to stand or walk the entire shift
• The ability to read a work order and fill that order with specified product
