Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking forklift operators for a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Summary: Drives industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the duties listed. Essential duties include moving levers, positioning forks, unloading and stacking, inventorying materials, and maintaining inventory records.

Qualifications

• Must have previous forklift experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Lumber experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and press pedals to drive forklift and control lifting.
• Position forks or lifting device under, over, or around pallets and transport load to designated area.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with needed materials.
• Keep records of inventory.
