Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator at our Shreveport, LA service center. You will move freight in and out of 53’ trailers, operating a forklift on a roofed dock that is non-climate-controlled. Starting pay is $22.63 per hour with benefits and one week of vacation after 90 days.

Candidates should be able to bend, lift, stoop, read manifests and interact with a computer display. Prior forklift experience in a fast-paced environment and some LTL experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Full-time Forklift Operators at our Shreveport, LA service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Previous forklift exp in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experiences
