Job summary

Tindell's, Inc. is seeking a dependable 2nd shift assembler for our East Tennessee facility. The role runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, assembling outgoing orders, operating a forklift, maintaining a safe and organized yard, and supporting the Commodity Center Team as needed. Must lift 50–100 pounds repeatedly and work well with others.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to do basic math, read orders, and write instructions.
• Strong teamwork and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders for staging and delivery as directed by the Commodity Center Manager.
• Receive incoming merchandise and assemble outgoing orders.
• Stock, maintain, and clean the facility per directions.
• Place material in staging area and return paperwork to the correct location.
• Assist unloading and replacing returned merchandise in stock.
• Operate forklift to help load and unload trucks.
• Organize and secure yard or warehouse for safety.
• Maintain housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
• Complete forklift pre-op checklist when assigned.
• Assist supervisor and other employees as needed.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Primary assembler of customer orders for staging and delivery. Receives incoming merchandise and assembles outgoing orders at the direction of the Commodity Center Material Manger. Stocks, maintains, and cleans the facility at the direction of the Commodity Center Manager or Yard Foreman.
