Job summary

Kettle Cuisine in Everett, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, and move ingredients and packaging. The role requires forklift certification and reach truck experience, with hourly pay aligned to experience and DOE.

You will operate in a manufacturing setting, maintain FIFO processes, use an ERP system, and support safe, clean, and efficient warehouse operations aligned with company values.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and reach truck experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw ingredients and packaging supplies according to procurement and quality guidelines.
• Put away all raw ingredients and packaging supplies in the appropriate storage locations.
• Pick and transfer raw ingredients and packaging supplies from warehouse storage to operation departments as requested.
• Ensure proper rotation of raw ingredients, first expired – first out.
• Return ingredients and packaging supplies back to proper storage locations after usage.
• Transfer finished goods to rack locations and/or shipping docks.
• Pick, follow first in – first out, and ship finished goods via shuttles or direct to the customer in accordance with all quality and regulatory requirements.
• Effectively complete all the above-mentioned tasks through an ERP application.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse to include dry, frozen, and cooler storage, and all receiving and shipping docks as well as the finished goods cooler.
• Monitor the accuracy of inventory locations and tags.
• Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies and other issues to the lead and manager as appropriate.
• Practice safe forklift operating procedures
• Maintain food safety practices.
• Monitor for safe load capacity on storage racks.
• Monitor safe storage procedures to eliminate workplace hazards.
• Other duties as required.
