Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Fontana, CA is seeking a Forklift Operator to load/unload, stage freight, and assist Drivers using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow TSA/OSHA guidelines.

The role requires 1 year warehouse experience, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and English literacy. Shifts Tue–Sat with pay $23.50–$24.00 per hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must work well with others with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, assist drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Handle materials by picking, packing, scanning, and counting as needed.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of packaging and systems work.
• Identify overages, shortages and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate forklift, pallet jacks and related equipment.
• Follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain safe work environment complying with TSA/OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
