Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Kyle, TX facility, relocating to a new Austin, TX site by October 2026. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm, with coverage of other shifts as needed.

You will pull routes using manifests, stage freight, and assist drivers, while safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks. RF scanning and accurate, detail‑oriented work in a fast-paced warehouse are essential. Must lift 50+ lbs and read instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred - 1 year experience.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted.
• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.

Responsibilities

• Pull routes using manifests, stage freight, and assist drivers.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap materials.
• Identify and annotate OS&D and ensure accurate packaging and systems.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm; candidate must be able to cover other shifts as needed

Location

Facility is currently located in Kyle, TX, but will relocating to a new facility in Austin, TX by October 2026. Please keep this in mind when applying for the role!

Essential Functions

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks

• Forklift experience

• Material handling may include one or more of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting (asapplicable), counting products, and other like dutiesmust ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.

• Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

• Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment.

• Ensure a safe and secure work environment, including all TSA and OSHA guidelines.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material

• Experience using an RF scan gun is required

• Previous forklift certifications preferred

• Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends

• Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well

• Must have the ability to work well with others

• High attention to detail required

• Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. unassisted

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English

Pay Range

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
