Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Burlington, NJ is seeking a Forklift Operator to manage loading and unloading processes using a hand truck, reach truck or forklift, while keeping a clean, safe work area and verifying loads against manifests.

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to work well with others with minimal supervision.
• Must lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Handle materials including picking, packing, scanning, and counting as applicable.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems accuracy.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain safe and secure work environment per TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
