Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Seabrook, New Jersey location. The role involves loading and unloading goods from trailers using a forklift and recording movements in our inventory system (QAD/RF scanning).

The starting hourly rate is $21.67/hr with shift differentials for 2nd ($0.35/hr) and 3rd ($0.45/hr) shifts. Medical insurance is offered through Local Union 152, and duties include accurate tagging and safe storage of products.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload finished goods and raw materials.
• Use FIFO method to load and rotate stock; complete the load with accurate BOL documentation.
• Tag and store finished products from production lines safely and efficiently.
• Communicate shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Use RF scanners to capture movements and QAD for tag edits.
