Job summary

Staffmark in Plano, TX is hiring for a Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move freight in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires standing, operating stand-up/sit-down forklifts, using RF scanners, and maintaining inventory accuracy, with training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and certification is a plus; we offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating stand-up, sit-down, cherry picker, and reach truck forklifts.
• Warehouse and freight handling experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload 53-foot trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate stand-up, sit-down, cherry picker, and reach truck forklifts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and move freight throughout the warehouse.
• Label boxes and prepare freight for shipment.
• Verify freight documentation and inspect freight for quality standards.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
