Job summary

thyssenkrupp in Kyle, TX seeks a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment across the facility using a forklift. You may operate cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other equipment as needed; work under direct supervision and handle basic issues on the floor.

Responsibilities include selecting and stocking product per inventory plan, loading/unloading trucks, processing orders, completing cycle counts, inspecting the forklift at shift start, and supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Lift up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Must sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment with a forklift.
• Stock and remove items per inventory plan.
• Load and unload trucks and verify correct items.
• Pick, process and pack orders; cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts.
• Identify and segregate defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions when required.
• Inspect forklift at shift start and report issues.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
