Job summary

ProAmpac in Middletown, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to operate a forklift and move, pick, and store materials safely and efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow ERP processes for stock put-away and FIFO, and you may train in other plant areas. This full-time position offers a 12-hour shift rotation and pay of $18.50 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to a busy manufacturing

Qualifications

Must have previous forklift experience (1 year experience preferred).
Satisfactory completion of internal forklift training program.
Detail oriented with good organization and time management skills.
Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to train in other areas of the plant.
Must be available to work overtime on short notice which may include weekend, evening, or holiday hours.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift safely and move/pick items according to orders.
Read production, customer, and purchase orders to determine items to move or pick.
Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure stock is rotated FIFO (First In/First Out).
Put away finished goods/raw materials and maintain accurate inventory in ERP.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Work in a team setting and participate in problem solving.
Read work orders and ensure proper item placement and labeling.
