Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator for our USA Independence facility in Kentucky. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, inventory control, and accurate handling of goods from inbound to outbound processes.

Key duties include unloading shipments, storing products, picking and staging orders, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. A GED or high school diploma is required, with at least six months in logistics and active forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (forklifts, clamp trucks).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and prepare for shipment ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Maintain accurate records and safety standards in the warehouse.
• Perform duties as Order Filler and Checker as needed.
• Comply with SOPs and safety policies.
