Job summary

Peterson-Farms, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Manual Labor worker in Stockton, CA to operate a forklift, move palletized freight, and perform daily inspections and paperwork. The role requires outdoor work and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory control, and following GMP guidelines. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with team members and drivers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
• Forklift driving experience preferred.
• High level of honesty, integrity, energy, and personal accountability.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently preferred.
• Paperwork accuracy is a must.

Responsibilities

• Move, sort, handle, stack, stage, load and unload palletized freight using a forklift.
• Inspect equipment daily before use (forklift, pallet jack, hand tools, etc.).
• Open and close used and unused barrels & totes as needed.
• Complete inventory control paperwork for each load.
• Pick and stage orders and identify/unload in sequence.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and drivers.
• Report product issues to Production Supervisor.
• Maintain all equipment and facility areas in a neat, clean, and safe condition.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and perform other duties as assigned.
