Job summary

Metrolina Greenhouses in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Forklift Driver to load and unload deliveries, move materials, and support in a fast-paced greenhouse environment.

You will operate a sit-down forklift, use RF scanners, manage inventory, and assist with soil production while supporting other departments as needed. Must be able to life 35 pounds unaided, 50 pounds with assistance, and work Monday-Friday with overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of forklift experience.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Proficient in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from delivery trucks.
• Transport materials to different locations within the facility.
• Move material on pallets throughout the greenhouse.
• Stack product in correct locations following inventory instructions.
• Update inventory activity and log completed tasks.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Assist with soil production.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
