Job summary

MacKenzie-Childs is seeking an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to efficiently operate battery-powered lift equipment and handheld scanners to manage inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid forklift license, with preference given to candidates with Reach truck and Counterbalance experience and 3–5 years in warehouse operations. Occasional weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift License required.
• 1–3 years Reach truck experience preferred.
• 1–3 years Counterbalance forklift operator experience preferred.
• 3–5 years Warehouse Operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate battery powered lift equipment to receive, put away, replenish, and load inventory within a distribution warehouse.
• Assist with physical inventory to maintain accuracy of product in warehouse.
• Provide routine maintenance on lift equipment: nightly charging of unit batteries, watering, checking for wear, and requesting service on inoperable equipment.
• Maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations.
