Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator to move stock within our warehouse and handle loading/unloading duties. The role combines equipment operation (30-90% depending on production peak) with material handling responsibilities.

The position offers 1st shift Monday to Friday, 8 am–4 pm, and a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. Prior stand-up forklift experience is preferred and training is provided to achieve required certifications.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
• Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Move stock within the warehouse and load/unload shipments using forklifts.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials.
• Maintain records and reports for inventory accuracy; comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain equipment in good condition.
