Job summary

Carolina Beverage Group, LLC is seeking a forklift operator for our fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role focuses on safe shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate counts and proper labeling.

You will operate sit-down forklift, follow GMPs, and support FEFO/FIFO inventory processes while mentoring new hires and maintaining a clean warehouse. Join us to contribute to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills.
• 1-3 years Warehouse/Forklift experience.
• Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems (preferred).
• Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely operates equipment as stated by GMPs and Safety protocols.
• Assist in setting up and control of FEFO/FIFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials.
• Models loads and paperwork handling best practices.
• Train/mentor new hires as assigned by Supervisors.
• Makes sure production has the correct packaging for the day.
• Keeps accurate count of finished product.
• Verifying product is properly labeled with date code, pallet number, state, on hold, etc.
• Submits daily counts to office at the end of each shift.
• Maintains a clean and organized warehouse.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other personnel.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor/customer.
• Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
• Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
