Job Description

Hourly pay rate effective 04/01/25: $19.44

Hourly pay rate: $19.44

We are in need of experienced Forklift Operators with extensive knowledge of sit-down electric and propane-powered forklifts. The role involves pushing, pulling, stacking, tiering, and moving pallets of products, equipment, or materials. Safety is a primary concern, and all operations must follow GMP, Safety, Regulatory, and Company procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts by moving levers and pedals to control movement and lifting apparatus.
• Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, or materials and transport them to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Follow GMP and Safety guidelines.
• Pick customer orders as required.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with needed materials.
• Inspect trailers before loading and unloading, documenting findings on paper forms.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Drive into bays to enter or exit pallets of product, up to four tiers high.
• Willingness to be trained in Shipping, Receiving, Take-off, Palletizing, and Shuttling.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge

Additional Information

Physical: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.

Sensory: Good sight and hearing.

Mental/Reasoning: Attention to detail.
