Job summary

PepsiCo in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a forklift operator to join our warehouse team. The role requires weekend shifts and the ability to safely load, unload, and store palletized goods using forklifts and warehouse technology.

You will follow training to operate equipment, handle inventory, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in conditions that include varying temperatures and loud machinery.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Weekend/holiday/off-shift availability.
• Able to lift 15–50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to climb/bend/reach/stoop/kneel/stretch for extended periods.
• Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products.
• Willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Willing to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift after training and certification.
• Load and unload pallets of product to and from trailers.
• Safely place and store product in multi-tiered warehouse storage.
• Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology.
• Properly manage warehouse inventory using handheld scanners and Inventory Control Systems.
• Complete general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as needed (e.g., sweeping, cleaning trailers, taking out trash).

Minimum Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older
