Job summary

Saddle Creek Corporation in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Forklift Operator for the D shift (Thursday to Saturday 4:30pm to 4am). You will load, unload, sort, stage and transport products within a warehouse, following safety policies and using handheld scanners for WMS compliance.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of forklift experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and be willing to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety policies.
• Load and unload trailers, railcars, and transports to designated areas.
• Check inbound/outbound items for accuracy and damage.
• Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
