Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Fontana, California.

You will oversee loading and unloading, maintain a safe work area, and support efficient warehouse operations within our logistics network. Responsibilities include using manifest to pull routes, staging freight, assisting drivers, operating forklift and pallet jacks, and ensuring accuracy and safety per TSA/OSHA guidelines; strong reading comprehension and teamwork required; overtime and possible

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• English proficient; communicate effectively.
• Overtime and occasional weekends may be required.
• RF scan gun experience preferred.
• Forklift certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products and other duties
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately
• Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure safe and secure work environment including TSA and OSHA guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
