Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dependable forklift operator to safely load and unload shipments at our Richmond, VA facility. The role requires operating forklifts, completing shipping and receiving paperwork, and assisting with inventory controls using DC Links. You will adhere to strict safety standards and GMP/ISO/SQF/FDA guidelines.

The position emphasizes daily equipment checks, cross-department collaboration, and a commitment to quality and safety within a fast-paced packaging operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year related experience and/or training.
• Requires Forklift Operator Certificate (internal training).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload shipments of product.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving of product.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by physical inventories and use of DC Links.
• Assist other departments when an operator is needed.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Follow all Plant Safety rules.
• Follow GMP/ISO/SQF/FDA requirements.
