Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and related equipment in a food production environment, ensuring accurate staging, loading, and compliance with GMP and OSHA standards.

The role supports inbound/outbound shipping, conducts pre/post-shift inspections, and collaborates with the Shipping Supervisor to maintain safety and efficiency in the dock and staging areas.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and stage shipments according to safety policies.
• Load outbound trailers accurately and verify counts against shipping documents before departure.
• Unload inbound deliveries and transport materials to designated storage areas with FIFO rotation.
• Stage finished goods for outbound shipment and ensure proper labeling and organization for loading.
