Job summary

JENNMAR Services is hiring a Forklift Operator/Fabrication Shop Laborer to safely operate a forklift and assist with shop tasks. Starting pay is $20.00+ per hour with overtime opportunities, and steady hours in a hands-on role that builds practical skills.

You'll load/unload materials, move items around the facility, and help with fabrication tasks such as building forms and bending rebar. A safety-first approach and reliable attendance are essential.

Essential Duties and Functions:

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE previous forklift experience
• Strong desire to learn new responsibilities and grow with the company
• Ability to work independently with a safety-focused attitude
• Reliable performance, punctuality, and attendance
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check

Work Environment:

• Exposure to machinery, outdoor weather conditions, and vibration
• Frequent wet or humid conditions; loud work environment
• Typical schedule: 8-12 hour shifts, 5-7 days/week during peak season; occasional night work

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing, sitting, and reaching (waist to shoulder height)
• Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling 50-75 lbs
• Occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing
• Ability to maintain required vision (close, distance, depth perception)
