Job summary

Palmer Logistics is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our Baytown, TX warehouse team. This role handles receiving, shipping and quality control of varied products, including hazardous materials, in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate multiple forklift types, utilize RF scanners, load/unload goods, and ensure accurate shipments while maintaining safety and efficiency. We offer multiple benefits and a pathway to contribute to the broader Palmer/H.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years forklift experience in a logistics environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stage product using sit-down forklift, reach truck, and cherry picker.
• Pull and prepare product for shipping with labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, and bracing.
• Verify shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Operate RF scanner and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and meet productivity goals.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and assist with other duties as needed.
