The Equipment Operator role operates powered industrial forklifts to load and unload materials and move them from storage areas, machines, and loading docks into trucks; supports other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.

We are seeking candidates with a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of forklift experience (certification preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Forklift experience with certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload materials on to trailers.
• Collect and stage orders to be shipped.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelving, pallet areas and work stations.
• Maintain high safety standards throughout operations.
• Assist inventory control through recording materials shipped and counting inventory.
• Support other staff with day-to-day warehouse operations as needed.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.
