Qualifications

• >1 year forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate material transporting equipment safely.
• Operate a hand truck and/or forklift.
• Follow safety rules at all times.
• Maintain equipment and daily checklists.
• Contact carriers for shipments.
• Work with Shipping Clerk to ensure timely shipments.
• Unload inbound freight.
• Load palletized material into trailers using a forklift.
• Hand-load finished goods into trailers.
• Arrange finished goods to maximize trailer space and prevent damage.
• Notify supervisor of discrepancies in Bills of Lading or receivers.
• Follow production schedule and report progress.
• Keep work areas clean.
• Cross-train for duties outside primary role.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
