Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Mundelein, IL to efficiently sort, load and unload freight on a dock. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, secure loads and collaborate with the team to keep shipments moving.

The role requires the ability to work varied shifts, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and comply with safety policies on a non-climate-controlled dock. Pay ranges from $24.37 to $29.93 per hour, with benefits for 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Experience with warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods
