Job summary

Carolina Container LLC in High Point, NC is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse while ensuring safe operation and adherence to production schedules.

You will perform inspections, maintain accurate records, and help optimize logistics. A minimum of three years forklift experience and familiarity with corrugated manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to load/unload materials and move them to storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
• Complete forklift inspections before start of shift and log maintenance requests as needed.
• Adhere to daily production schedule and help optimize to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
• Deliver stock to machines safely and on time.
• Complete required paperwork and reports accurately.

Must be qualified to properly operate the forklift. • Complete and document a forklift inspection form before start of shift and when operating a new forklift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. • Locate stock before the start of the run. • Adheres to daily production schedule.
