Job summary

Brooklyn Bottling Corp. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Florida warehouse. The role requires operating forklifts and related heavy equipment to move materials safely, with a focus on accurate order picking and inventory control.

The position emphasizes compliance with OSHA standards, routine equipment checks, and teamwork to ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and distribution of products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and similar warehouse equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations in materials handling.
• Excellent math skills for inventory counts and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Perform order picking using pallet jacks and other equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Assist in inventory control, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure safety and performance.
• Support shipping/receiving by verifying inbound/outbound shipments against documents.
