Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Webster, NY to join a safety‑focused warehouse team. You will operate forklifts, pick and pack orders, and assist with shipping and receiving. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration within a busy distribution campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule on varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation.
• Audit and stage products, load and unload trucks.
• Handle daily paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automation systems during production hours.
• Aim for accuracy and safety in all duties.
