Job summary

A-1 Industries in Bainbridge, GA, is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for the Day Shift to safely move lumber and truss packages in an outdoor manufacturing yard. You will load, unload, organize, and secure materials while following all safety policies.

The ideal candidate is forklift certified, able to work independently, and committed to safety and productivity during the 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM schedule with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification required.
• Ability to safely operate large-capacity all-terrain forklifts.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and transport lumber and truss packages.
• Perform daily equipment checks and adhere to OSHA/company safety policies.
• Load, unload, and secure materials for delivery; assist in stacking and organizing yard.
• Report any damage or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe outdoor manufacturing yard environment.
