Qualifications

• Safe forklift operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Inspect and troubleshoot forklift to maximize uptime.
• Interpret verbal and written customer orders.
• Basic data entry and reporting skills.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant warehouse setting.
• Use of forklift in loading/unloading of finished product and raw materials to/from trucks/railcars and from the production line.
• Interpret customer orders to pull, stage, load, and check materials for timely shipment.
• Record shipping data and results as required.
• Troubleshoot and apply basic maintenance to service equipment.
• Actively participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
• Adapt scheduling including shiftwork, overtime, weekends, etc.
