Overview

Graham Packaging Company is looking for a Forklift Operator based in Bradford, PA. Day Shift: 6:54 am to 7:00 pm.

Shift may change to 12-hour or 8-hour shifts based on business needs.

Pay: $20.90/hr. with a $500 sign-on bonus! Additional $1.25/hr. shift differential. Weekly pay and benefits effective from day one!

Responsibilities

Forklift Operators perform product handling and lift truck duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods. They ensure efficient flow of materials, complete line driver reports, and assist production line employees during breaks. The primary duties include:

1. Follow all safety, health, quality GMP, and company policies and procedures.
2. Conduct safety lift truck inspections, report malfunctions, change batteries, and maintain records.
3. Participate in quality improvement projects and related activities.
4. Review production schedules, supply materials, and manage finished goods movement.
5. Accurately record material usage and production data.
6. Manage scrap and corrugated waste, ensuring proper storage and disposal.
7. Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in physical inventories.
8. Ensure proper storage and labeling of finished goods.
9. Assist with stock handling and trailer loading when needed.
10. Transport materials and finished goods within the facility, ensuring quality and safety.
11. Follow forklift procedures and safety checklists.
12. Report damaged materials and communicate shift and machine totals.
13. Complete documentation and assist with break relief duties.
14. Use forklift to move pallets for wrapping and staging, maintaining supplies and inspecting product quality.
15. Travel may be required.

Qualifications
