Job Description

Primary Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Position: Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

• Drive gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, booms, scoops, lift beams, swivel hooks, fork grapples, clamps, elevating platforms, or trailer hitches to move products, equipment, or materials.
• Operate levers and pedals to control truck movement and lifting apparatus.
• Position forks or other lifting devices under, over, or around loads such as pallets, skids, boxes, or materials, and transport them to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Inventory materials on the production line or work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Load or unload materials according to load sheets or directives, recording these activities accordingly.
• Ensure proper lubrication, battery recharging, or liquefied gas tank replacement for trucks.
• Wear company-provided uniforms and safety equipment to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
