Job summary

FlexXray LLC in Arlington, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator (Day shift) to load and unload trailers, feed production lines, and keep shipping areas clean and safe. The role requires operating a sit-down forklift, handling pallets, and following safety guidelines.

Preferred bilingual English/Spanish skills, ability to stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. Full-time position with competitive hourly pay in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience (sit-down preferred).
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with WMS software.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
• Secure loads with shrink wrap and restraints.
• Transport products to/from different facility locations.
• Maintain forklift charging stations and yard equipment.
• Replace propane tanks and/or plug in forklift to charge.
• Assist with yard mule operations as directed by management.
• Report reefers refueling needs and maintenance issues.
• Support PM activities related to forklifts and yard mule.
• Complete daily and weekly checklists for forklifts.
• Ensure proper pallet handling, storage and care.
• Feed production lines with correct product for operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Description

We are looking for a forklift Operator in the Arlington area.Forklift Operator is responsible for loading and unloading pallets into trailers, while supplying products to the lines to run efficiently, as well as other responsibilities within shipping & receiving. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload all inbound and outbound trailers.
• Secure loads before transportation to include shrink wrapping pallets, use of load restraints and air pillow.
• Transport products to/from different locations within the facility.
• Maintain forklift charging stations, reefers, and mule clean and organized.
• Replace propane tanks and/or plug in forklift to charge as needed.
• Assist with FlexXray’s yard mule operations as directed by management (Note: additional training required).
• Proactively advise management regarding reefers refueling needs & yard mule maintenance issues.
• Support PM activities related to forklifts & yard mule.
• Complete the Forklift Operator's Daily Checklist and additional weekly duty checklists.
• Responsible for proper pallet handling, storage, and care.
• Responsible for feeding the lines with the correct product to run operations effectively.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
• Identify and report workplace safety hazards.
• Report on any issues within the shipping and receiving processes.
• Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Assist with Plant housekeeping and some light maintenance as needed.
• Other duties assigned by management.
