Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking a Forklift Driver - Operations for the Walton, NY facility. This full-time role involves operating power industrial trucks, loading/unloading, and supporting receiving, picking and shipping tasks to ensure accurate inventory and timely order processing.

The position offers a 1A/1B shifts schedule with a $2.50 per hour differential for night shifts. Candidates must hold a forklift certification and be able to work in warehouse temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; input data into WMS.
• Pull and prepare for shipment; ensure exact quantity and type of product are loaded.
• Maintain organized work area and ensure inventory accuracy during picking, packing, and staging.
• Operate forklift or other power equipment to load, unload, stack, and stage product; perform routine maintenance.
