Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Winchester, VA is seeking a Forklift Driver, Operations I for a full-time night shift (6PM-6AM, 2-2-3 schedule). The role focuses on operating power forklifts to move, stack, and count goods, with responsibilities in receiving, order picking, inventory control, and safe, accurate shipping and receiving in a high-volume distribution setting.

Responsibilities include data entry into WMS, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; input data into WMS.
• Pick and prepare for shipment; ensure correct product is loaded.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Move product from staging and/or storage to production lines or staging docks; ensure proper documentation.
• Keep records and reports to maintain tight inventory control and security; assist in inventories.
• Follow safety, housekeeping and OSHA/MSDS standards and participate in safety meetings.
• Operate forklift/clamp truck and other equipment safely; maintain equipment and certify as required.
