Job summary

Abacus Corporation, a family-owned staffing leader, is seeking a forklift operator for day and night shifts in the Pittston, PA area. You will responsibly maneuver sit-down and high-reach forklifts, load/unload materials, and ensure safety and accuracy in pallet handling.

Requirements include 2–3 years forklift experience, English literacy, and strong teamwork. Overtime opportunities are available; pay is $18/hour day shift and $19/hour night shift.

Qualifications

• Stable work history and reliability.
• Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Experience operating sit-down and high-reach forklifts (2–3 years).
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload materials.
• Move palletized materials around site per supervisor directions.
• Ensure loads are secured before departure.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and complete checklists.
• Communicate issues or damages to supervisor promptly.
