Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Opelousas, LA to move pallets, load/unload, and support production areas. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, hand-sorting pallets when needed, and repairing pallets as required.

The position offers an 4th shift schedule and hourly pay of $18.50/hr, with benefits including paid time off, 401(k), and comprehensive insurance options for eligible full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• 1–3 years forklift experience preferred.
• Warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to staging areas using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
