Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator for D Shift in Haltom City, TX. The role requires 12 months of stand-up forklift experience and the ability to work a 10–12 hour shift in a cold environment, with lifts up to 70 lbs for certain positions. Overtime and weekend work are expected; safety and Tyson policies must be followed.

The position offers on-site work with a wage of $22.30 per hour. Applicants may be considered for multiple departments, including Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving.

Qualifications

• 12 months of stand-up forklift experience in the last 3 years.
• Cold Warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to meet minimum productivity percentage.
• Willing to train for forklift license and operate RF equipment.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Able to read/write and complete on-the-job paperwork; communicate across management levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport and unload materials.
• Work in a cold and damp environment (−10 to 34 °F).
• Stand for long shifts (10–12 hours) and lift up to 40+ lbs (70+ lbs for Material Handling/Receiving).
• Follow Tyson Foods policies and procedures and use RF equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
